Therapeutic Approach:
Whether you’re navigating a difficult life transition, relationship challenges, the effects of trauma, depression, or simply feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’re experiencing. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment—and feel supported as we work together toward the changes you’re hoping to make.
I believe therapy is, in many ways, a process of coming back to yourself. Life experiences can shape how we see ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us, and sometimes we lose touch with the parts of ourselves that once felt most authentic. Through curiosity, self-exploration, and honest conversation, I hope to help you reconnect with those parts of yourself and find greater balance and meaning.
The therapeutic relationship itself is an important part of healing. I strive to bring empathy, warmth, humor, curiosity, and humility into our work together. I want you to feel comfortable being your whole self in the therapy room, and I approach our work as a genuine collaboration. Together, we can explore both the challenges that brought you to therapy and the strengths, relationships, and resources you already have within you.
My approach is integrative and culturally informed, meaning that I tailor therapy to who you are and what you need rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach. My work draws from Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). These approaches allow us to explore the ways your past experiences may continue to influence how you relate to yourself and others, while also creating opportunities to develop new perspectives, strengthen relationships, process difficult experiences, and move forward.
Therapy should feel like a place where you can be known, heard, and supported. We will work together to better understand your story, build on your strengths, and create a path forward that feels meaningful and authentic to you.
