Begin by completing our comprehensive intake form, providing us with essential information about your history and current concerns.
30-Minute Consultation Call
After reviewing your form, we’ll schedule a free 30-minute consultation call to discuss your goals and answer any questions you may have. If we both feel like it is a good fit, then we move onto the Assessment phase.
Assessment
We conduct a thorough assessment to understand your specific needs and create a tailored plan for your intensive sessions. The 2-hour assessment appointment is used to assess for candidacy in the intensive Program, discuss the concerns bringing you to treatment, and identify the goals and focus for EMDR processing. If during the assessment it is determined that you are not a good candidate for EMDR therapy. Dr. Espada will provide you with her case conceptualization and provide you recommendations for treatment. It is possible that follow-up sessions are utilized for other trauma-informed treatment as opposed to EMDR if it is determined that it would be a better fit. There is a $600 fee for the assessment.
Processing Sessions
Engage in focused EMDR sessions designed to process and integrate your traumatic memories. Processing sessions typically occur over the course of 4 days for 2-2.5 hours per day. Sessions are typically scheduled on Thursday, Fridays in person during a two week period.
Wrap-Up Sessions
Conclude with sessions to consolidate your progress and discuss next steps for ongoing well-being. The cost of your follow up sessions depends on the amount of time recommended. Typical fee is $2400, but may vary depending on an individual's specific needs.
