How I Can Help:

If I were to sum up my therapeutic style in one word, it would probably be “acceptance.” I am here to accept you, exactly as you are, even when you can’t accept yourself. It is my goal to create a safe, relaxed, nonjudgmental atmosphere in which you can feel seen and heard. In this space, it is okay to not be okay. I will meet you where you are and work collaboratively with you to identify and address any current or historical stressors that may be negatively impacting your life. My holistic, person-centered approach to therapy is based on your unique needs and is informed by extensive training and experience in various trauma-focused treatment modalities. I frequently utilize principles from sensorimotor therapy, EMDR, and relational parts work, along with more traditional cognitive and behavioral tools, to aid you in feeling more integrated and regulated. I believe therapy does not have to be static or stationary. If your body feels the urge to move during sessions, I encourage you to do so. I also welcome anything you wish to bring into session that inspires or resonates with you. Is there a meme or TikTok video that brought you joy this week? I’d love to see it. Has a song or poem gotten you through a particularly hard day? I am here for it. And I’m here for you, whenever you’re ready.
