Therapeutic Approach:
To consider therapy as a way to supplement your healing journey demonstrates courage and can also feel daunting. I acknowledge it can be hard to trust someone new, and for this reason, prioritize going at your pace, and invite collaboration from the beginning. I bring warmth, compassion, and curiosity to therapy to create a non judgmental and supportive environment where you are invited to bring your whole self at your pace. In the past, I have supported children, adolescents, and adults who feel stuck after a challenging experience in life, no matter how long ago it might have been. I integrate various treatment approaches such as EMDR, IFS, SMART, ARC, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to harness your intrinsic wisdom to help you heal from within. You started your journey long ago, and know yourself best, I am here to walk with you, bear witness, and work toward living the way you want to live.
Advanced Trainings:
- Certification in Traumatic Stress Studies, Trauma Center at JRI
- Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC)
- Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMART) Therapy
